I have taught at all levels of education in Nigeria. I am currently lecturing in Biochemistry at a university. I utilized the following to achieve the desired goal of improving my students:
•Encourage a love for learning in students of varying abilities. This is achieved by displaying videos to explain concepts from the lessons taught, thereby encouraging retention in the students.
• I have helped students achieve good results in line with curriculum targets, aiding the overall school performance in external examinations.

Biology is a life science, hence, I encourage my students not to view lessons as abstract but as practical to ease learning and retention of concepts learned. I encourage learners to dominate the lessons while I serve as a guide; as from experience, students retain more from this approach than when teachers dominate the class discussion.
