My lessons are sculpted around you, what works for you, what you want to achieve and to let you know you can and will achieve higher. I find a discussion of strength and weaknesses as well as goals beneficial within the first session for me to better get a grasp of what it is you want to focus on followed by going over a past paper then marking it together. This will allow us to see where you are at with each topic within the subject. Next we can go over the segments that were found to be more challenging and improve on the skills that are there and the parts of the topic that you will be less developed on. We will then do another different past paper and see how you are improving and what parts need more work. This can better allow you to adapt the skills you are developing on to the format that you will be using for your real GCSEs. If you find after a few sessions that the method we use together isn’t effective and you find another strategy more useful please bring that up to me, I am here to help you, so anything that I can do to give you the best possible shot at achieving your goals always, no matter what, let me know. I will always aim for you to feel like you can speak to me freely on how our sessions will be going together and I will spend the time outside our sessions going over the plans for the next one so I don’t waste your time while we have them.
