My lessons comprises of study of life(biology),which I will use all necessary teaching methods including playway and demonstrative methods. Contents will include impacting knowledge about plants and animals.i have had six(6) years teaching experience and I have attended seminars on teaching methods.
I have also attended teaching courses and trainings within and outside the state.
During my period of trainings,we were thought on how to use all types of teaching methods which includes demonstrative, illustrative,playway methods etc for easy assimilation by the students.
Demonstrative method involves the use of objects for easy understanding.
Illustrative methods involves the use of drawings,signs etc,while the playway method is an inductive method where the teacher uses fun and frolic which nourishes the language proficiency.
Teaching is a noble profession I love with a passion and there is nothing that gives me joy other than Teaching.
I also derive joy seeing my students who passed through me excelling in their different field of endeavours.
I use different methods of teachings for different students depending on assimilation and understanding rates, I take it easy while teaching to ensure my students understand. Breaking the lectures down in such a way even grandmothers at home will understand is my obligation and duty as a teacher.
Preparing of notes,bringing out points the children will go home with, summarising the points also help the children to understand what you are talking about.
Also practicalising some of the topics so that the students can see in the laboratories is also a major teaching technique .
