I have experience teaching chemistry, both practical and thereotical, to undergraduate students during my PhD and will look to apply the techniques developed during this time to online tutoring. We will initially start by focusing on what the student really wants to get out of the sessions, and formulate a plan of action together. I have experience teaching chemistry, both practical and thereotical, to undergraduate students during my PhD and will look to apply the techniques developed during this time to online tutoring. We will initially start by focusing on what the student really wants to get out of the sessions, and formulate a plan of action together. The content will then be delivered using several different techniques, notably using problems to test current understanding of the content. This will help to guide the teaching to really help the student understand the content and most importantly, enjoy and develop a passion for the subject.
