My name is George and I want to target my tutoring to the SAT level, with personally tailored sessions.
I often find that structured lesson plans are not suitable for the needs of all students, therefore my lessons will be more custom made.
I plan to ask questions relating to what the students knows already, in order to form a more specialised and targeted lesson for them.
As someone who achieved highly in both maths and English, I strive for quality in my work, although I cannot boast the cheapest prices, I can guarantee value for money.
I offer hour long sessions, double hour sessions for a discount, and half hour lessons, to help you fully understand a single topic.
I have an availability of Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursday mornings, and Saturday afternoons, I am perfectly happy for students to have two or more sessions a week if they need the help, and will offer an additional discount for block-weekly lessons.
Basic understanding of maths and English can easily get a student through their SATs, but secondary schools expect students to be fully competent with SAT level skills.
This is why tutoring is so important, it gives the student a boost as they head into secondary school, where they can carry the momentum of learning through both years seven and eight.
I do offer GCSE tutoring as well although it is limited to my half hour sessions, as are my English spoken sessions, where you get a simple conversation to practice your English speaking.
