I try and find the easiest and most efficient way to do and remember things. I have been very good at maths my whole life because of this. I will do whatever content is needed if mentioned before the lesson. In primary school i was top of my class in maths from the ways i figured out how to solve the equations and i will try help your child do this too. In my SATs i had got 112/120. This helped me get into the top classes when i joined secondary score. Mental maths is a big part of maths that i feel is overlooked recently and teachers like to do more equations and working out, i understand this however most children get bored quick doing maths and so i feel that my methods will help them quite a bit. When i was a child it would help me alot with homework, doing homework faster means that children will not dread maths because they dont have to spend alot of time on it. This has helped my logic in alot of my life, not just maths. I took statistics and this helped me alot with graphs and because of that i had got a 7 in GCSE. The reason i want to do this is because this is a passion for me. I love working with children and it is the reason i took psychology at a level. I have been around children my whole life and have been babysitting 4-12 year olds since i’ve been 8.
