First I take time to get to know every student and find out what level they're at in their studies, what accreditation they're aiming for, or if it is just general interest.

I begin with interactive presentations outlining the foundations of micro and macroeconomics, then get into the student's preferred fields of economics, whether it be game theory, international trade, game theory or behavioral economics (my favourite). I always relate back to the student's own experience, or break down the economic considerations of current topics.

My background is in financial markets so if the student wishes to focus on this, then I have many years of industry experience and can coach with the CFA exam, which is the gold standard in certification for people wishing to pursue investment management. I was an investment consultant initially, which is closely tied to pension investment, then an investment manager for individuals, which is closely tied to work as a financial advisor. I can give you direct links to the industry, coaching you on how to get a foot in the door of financial services. I have expert level knowledge of financial market dynamics.

I hope though my lessons students have a new passion for the exciting field of Economics.
