After moving to England from Romania in 2017 when I was young, I'm keenly aware of how hard and frustrating learning languages can be! I learnt English independently and now enjoy helping others to find their way with learning English in easy, fun and rewarding ways.

Whether students are looking for extra practice outside of school, are struggling with a particular area of study or just want some guidance on their homework, I'm happy to help students become more confident and independent in their language skills. Having grown up helping younger siblings and family friends with school work throughout my life, I approach lessons with kindness, empathy and a constructive attitude to help your little ones achieve their goals.

A lesson with me looks like:
- 1 hour long session
- KS1-friendly resources shared via screen share through Zoom, Teams or Google meet, etc.
- Lessons tailored to each student depending on needs
- Compassionate, constructive guidance through worksheets or verbal practice

In practice, students and I will spend part of the first lesson acclimatizing to the new environment and building rapport. I will ask student guardians in advance what content students want to work on and, from this discussion, I will slowly introduce students to a tailored course of learning that is flexible from week to week depending on how students respond and progress!
