I am a qualified child and adolescent mind coach accredited by the ICF and IAPCM. I have an APT Diploma in child and adolescent mental health. I am also a qualified NLP Master Practitioner.
I offer life coaching, mentoring and bespoke tutoring. I have been coaching secondary school students for three years and tutored and mentored students since 2002. My background is teaching business studies in inner city London colleges.
Bespoke coaching programs help students develop confidence and assertiveness, improve relationships, manage stress, build organisational skills, overcome obstacles, develop a growth mindset and refine techniques to enhance focus and attention.
I understand that everyone learns differently and that some of the most successful business people are those that struggled the hardest at school!  I know that it’s important to listen and work with students to help support their mental health whilst they are learning.
In addition to my work in secondary schools, I currently work with adolescents who are not attending school, supporting them with reintegration. This could be back into school, into further education or employment. This work involves social and emotional literacy interventions, alongside supporting them with the curriculum.
I am to engage students through active learning and help learners to develop metacognition.
I use a coaching approach to learning, where I partner with students to support them in reaching their goals and build relationships based on mutual respect.
A student centred approach means that the young person can learn at a pace that works for them. The coaching philosophy encourages students to connect with and explore their highest values so that they become intrinsically motivated to learn.
I am able to offer a range of tailored coaching programs online and in person that develop students character as well as life and study skills. I support young people with coaching and mentoring, through late adolescence up to age 25.
