Hi there!

I have worked as an academic mentor with students in KS3 and KS4 to help students with their English Literature and English Language GCSEs. I can tutor those via Zoom or Skype, teaching the current English curriculum to help get ready for exams, or even to help with subjects that you may need extra support for.

I also have experience working with students who have SEND or SEMH needs, and therefore I am fully adaptable to how I tutor my students.

I have worked in schools, colleges, and specific education provisions for those who have SEND or SEMH needs. I also have a Level 2 Qualification in Makaton if this is required, and have a background of working for a Autism Specialist.

I can also provide feedback and marking where required too.

My format for each lesson will be to introduce ourselves, get to know each other so the student feels comfortable, and once ready, I will teach a session based on a topic which will involve you answering questions, interactive elements such as quizzes and other activities, and writing exercises. These are all done at your pace, with reviews being done in between each activity to make sure you have understood what information you have learned, and that you can give an example of this too. If you are unsure, we will go over this again, and re visit this topic if needed to make sure you understand all the information confidently.
