Hello there :)

My name is Gemma. I am passionate about teaching because I believe that although learning can sometimes feel overwhelming, it can also be incredibly satisfying, sometimes we just need a different perspective to help us along the way - I'm hoping to provide that for you!

I like to get an understanding of the things that help you learn better and things you find make things more tricky, and construct an approach to lessons that you'll actually look forward to and find engaging. When content doesn't feel daunting, this can show us how the skills we already have can be used more readily. I''m happy to introduce you to other approaches too, if you feel you haven't quite yet found what works for you.

Ultimately, I'm here to make your learning experience better. I like using relatable analogies that help break complex content down to an easily digestible form. I'm encouraging, supportive, energetic, flexible and hopefully fun, whilst making sure we get sufficient work done to feel better about content than the previous day! Growth and learning isn't always an instant thing, I know that from previous experience. I think by appreciating this, we can make the process easier.
