I am an art historian and curator.

I have a multidisciplinary background with a BA diploma in Physics, an MA in Conservation of Historic Objects and a PhD in Art History researching the intersections of Physical Sciences with Contemporary Art from 1950 until today.
I was the principal London art correspondent for The Art Newspaper, Greece, and collaborated with many art platforms and magazines. I have curated numerous exhibitions and written articles and art theory texts for artists and art shows.

I have vast experience in researching, critically processing and communicating knowledge regarding cultural history and art theory, acquired by my long career in art journalism, criticism and curating, as well as my collaborations with artists in several career levels and institutions; a practical instinct for organizing and managing teamwork, meeting deadlines and solving problems, developed by curating solo and group exhibitions in challenging situations; a deep sense of patience, compassion and understanding towards any particular personal need, attained by collaborating with many creatives and working in big teams; and the consequent appropriate communication skills.
I have good IT and administrative skills, and I can track learners' progress and keep records of their work and performance. Apart from fluent English and Greek, I can read and speak intermediate-level Spanish and French.

I have been studying art history all my life and have obtained a deep cultural knowledge that I love to share through tutoring. Because of my broad knowledge of art in all its manifestations, histories, and the ways it intersects with society and politics, I am a great writer, speaker and teacher of art history and theory. I am particularly interested in queer identities, gender politics, posthumanism and science fiction and a deep engagement with postcolonial art theories, intersectional feminism and human rights movements.

I believe I am ideal for tutoring contemporary art history as, because of my career as an art critic as well as curator, I have a broad experience regarding contemporary art history, theory and criticism concerning the international art scene, a deep understanding of the current cultural issues plus a familiarity with the majority of London galleries.
