Hello, thank you for taking the time to read this. In my time in high school I used to tutor quite often and helped pupils in younger years understand problems they were struggling with. This usually involved me working through a problem they were struggling with and then identifying the main issue, then explaining that core concept, followed by the student attempting to solve the problem again. I am happy to accommodate other methods if the student is not keen on such an idea. I will provide contextual knowledge where appropriate or upon request. I will not include too much extra information as this has proven by my own experience at university to only cause further confusion. My profile says A level tutoring but I am more than happy to tutor at lower levels.
Generally any lesson I partake in will first require the teacher's method as the aim of the session is to help the student excel in school. If there is a serious problem with the teachers method then I will explain it differently, otherwise I will follow such a method. I would like for any student to send me problems via email so I can have a sufficient answer prepared for the tutor but feel free to ask anything during the session, I will do my best to give a satisfactory answer.
I am quite proficient in matrix calculations, differentiation, and integration. I remember these being the most difficult to learn. Don't worry, a few tricks will make them easy to manage.
