Initial assessment session to determine key areas of focus and learning. Assessments will then be utilised every few months to highlight progress and understanding.

Innovative, creative lessons personalized for students learning style or preference are important features of the lesson and will be adapted as agreed with pupil.

Generally lessons will follow a similar pattern being conducted online.

Online lessons will make use of PowerPoint where each slide will encourage and provoke an interactive, fast paced and conversational session before the main writing task will be discussed, delivered and worked upon.

Following this task homework will be set with a plenary reflecting on the skills and competencies required to ensure the writing or numeracy task is clearly understood and completed independently.

Whether in person or online pupils will always be encouraged and the aim is to inspire, motivate and empower each student to take ownership and independence of their learning journey.
