I like to tailor my lessons to the individual needs of each student. Typically, I like to start by understanding the level at which my student is at, the topics they find easy, and those they find challenging. I then cover each of those topics individually, using the core textbook, extra reading materials, and real-life examples. I also like to use lots of past papers and ensure that my students' answers are tailored to what the mark scheme expects. Having run a business in the past, I also like to share personal experiences around the topic and the real challenges I faced. I think it is important to learn the business from someone who's done it themselves, theory can be different from practice!

I have volunteered in the past to teach GCSE Business to students in my school and I was really happy when I saw the progress of each of my students. One of them went from averaging C's in-class tests and mock exams to scoring an A in the final exam.
