I'm a lazy student, always have been. But I've always been interested in learning new things, and not so interested in grades or qualifications.
I've figured out how to learn quickly, as part of an enjoyable journey. If I need to perfect something (whether it's an exam or a piano performance or a presentation), I have efficient, focused ways to do this that require minimal time and effort.
My lessons are minimalist, making use of accelerated learning and memory techniques that I've been researching and applying in my personal and professional life for the last 40 years. Ultimately, learning is fast AND slow. The fast part is fun, but we also need to find a way to make the slow part enjoyable so that we can go through the process consistently - "little but often".
I cover a wide range of subjects & disciplines, many of which overlap with each other. Some of my courses are very clear, following a definite path to learning (e.g. the course for Thai literacy and conversational fluency). Others are more personal to you.
I do away with whatever is unimportant or irrelevant and generally apply the 80/20 rule - unless you are already at an advanced level, in which case I have techniques to help you get that 80% of the final 20% done!
:)
