Gammorah Britton-Gibson

Hey I am Gammorah Britton-Gibson a masters students studying Global Political Economy at Goldsmiths University of London, currently seeking students to teach one-on-one in both GCSE and A-Level History (both of which I achieved A's in), either face to face or remotely. I am a passionate and dedicated tutor with experience mentoring during my BA, hosting and facilitating teach outs during my university study which I have achieved a upper second class degree at undergraduate in.
History is reflexed in everything we do and are, informing the understanding of ourselves, others and the world itself in ways we do not even realise, it is an enormous, endlessly fascinating and sometimes scary thing and I am first and foremost informed in my teaching by a passion for this subject. As someone who has experienced dyspraxia and ADD throughout their education however i am also aware that without a personalised set of strategies and routes into the learning, understanding, memorising and application of relevant knowledge this passion will not be fully realised, or reflected in academic outcomes. My teaching will therefore focus on creating a personalised approach, particularly on the logic of essay construction and how to present information in a systematic way. I believe in going above and beyond for those I tutor meaning doing research on and around the curriculum as well as additional knowledge of the content and process of assessment as to give an extra advantage in the examination process.
