I am a patient, calm and friendly tutor, who will tailor lessons depending on how you learn best. I understand that academic study can be stressful and worrying for some, therefore I guarantee that all tutoring sessions will be respectful and supportive.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
I have recently completed my PGCE at Edge Hill University gaining a distinction, therefore I hold qualified teaching status.
I have experience teaching in classroom environments with early years and primary school children. This has allowed me to refine my ability to adapt my teaching depending on the student and create interesting and memorable lessons to ensure retention of information.

After gaining an A in A-level Geography, I completed a BA (Hons) degree in Human Geography and Environment at the University of York. I am a passionate geographer and a keen artist, therefore lessons will be enriching and creative!

LESSON FORMAT
I will start by identifying who you are as a person, your interests and areas of strong subject knowledge. I will then understand target areas which you would like to work on and any specific challenges you’re coming across while studying.
I will use the National Curriculum and other examination bodies to plan sessions accordingly and ensure that no subject area is missed.
I will give guidance on how to create resources to help independent study and techniques to prepare for exams.
