I am very excited about the opportunity to tutor students or professionals seeking help in English. I have previously taught in both a class setting where I gave lectures on Cell Biology and Cellular Gene Therapy, I designed activities to help reinforce the lesson material, and I offered one-to-one student support while they worked through the assignments. I've also worked as a Supplemental Instruction Leader where I created novel approaches for students to engage with and practice the course material.

I value teaching that focuses on individual-based learning. I strongly believe that while not all students think in the same way, they are all equally capable of learning given the right support. My lessons are generally based on providing general basics and informative overviews before focusing on specific concepts. I aim to deliver the information in a way that it is also exciting or relevant to students to enhance their understanding and interest.

For writing support, I have had the most success in breaking down each segment of writing to discuss points and highlight content suggestions. I have also found it most helpful to provide grammar support and comments to allow students to identify and practice mechanical rules.
