I have 2 years of tutoring English tutoring experience at a GCSE level in which I assisted students in preparation for their exams as well as helping foreign students learn and improve their English speaking and writing skills. Typically, I begin by establishing a good relationship with the students and gauge their ability, working specifically on things that they want to improve and may struggle with. We will work together to set goals for their learning path and work constructively towards these objectives. The formality of my lessons is very flexible and up to the personal preference of the student, thus a more casual teaching style can be opted for. I am perfectly happy to tutor adults as well as children.
