I am a French and Spanish graduate with teaching experience and a CLTA awarded from International House, London. My lessons are usually a mix of vocabulary and grammar work, and will aim to test all competencies: oral, listening, speaking, reading and writing. I use a mix of materials and activities to keep it fun while still working these aspects effectively.
Depending on the type of lesson students want I will focus on different areas. For example, for students preparing for IELTS I will tailor the lessons to make sure that we get a lot of practice tests done, with IELTS material. For those who are wanting to learn to go on holiday, the appropriate vocabulary will be the focus, and for those wanting to improve their English for work, appropriate vocabulary will also be the focus. It is very important to me that my students are happy with the structure of the lessons and the material covered; I am open to offering discussing different possibilities to make sure I best meet their needs.
