Hello! My name is Gaby and as a psychology tutor, I love to help others understand concepts at a deeper level. To do this, I use mind maps, notes, and mnemonics that have helped me gain a personal understanding of the subject to paint a picture for my tutees and help them gain the knowledge they seek to hold.

As for my experience with the subject, I have completed an AP Psychology course with high marks and continue to learn more about the subject in my ongoing Undergraduate Master's in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Bristol.

My lessons are not meant to be high-pressure or stressful; I am also a student and understand how frustrating it can be to struggle in a subject. I aim to aid you in your learning path by breaking down your course content into manageable chunks that are simpler to remember.

To start our tutoring, we will go over your course description together and create a detailed action plan, which we will tackle little by little.

I acknowledge the importance of utilising memory tools such as spaced repetition to aid with content retention, so at the beginning of each session, we will do a refresher of the last session to ensure that the content is understood and test-ready.

We will then have a brief conversation to ensure we agree on a comprehensive list of points we will cover for the current lesson.

Finally, to wrap up our sessions I will ask about any assignments you are currently working on in class and whether I can assist you with them.
