I believe that tutoring should be done with a positive, calm and supportive attitude, and I endeavour for my students to leave sessions feeling more confident in their work and progress!

Typically, we will go through recent class work with them, looking at their teachers' feedback and working on how to improve. We would work on past papers and exam techniques, and I'd help to explain and work through anything they might be finding challenging in school. I am not here to teach the students anything new but to help solidify content that they are working on in school, improve exam technique and aid with revision.

My experience in tutoring has been with students aged 10-15, but, with my academic background, I can tutor GCSE and A Level too.

Typically, I would run lessons 45-60 minutes long, but this can vary and be adapted to suit the needs of the student. I try to tailor tutoring around what the student requires, as opposed to taking a 'one size fits all' approach.
