I have my own teaching technique which is based on the student's needs and goals. I do not teach by the book, all materials are structured around my students and what they want and like. I believe that to learn a language one needs to speak as much as possible, thus, I practise speaking and paraphrasing mostly in my lessons. I also believe that a student does not need homework, otherwise, learning becomes boring and it is easier to quit. Learning Russian CAN be fun and interesting, trust me.
