Learning a new language can be challenging, especially if you plan on using it in a foreign country. As a Spanish language tutor, I believe that it's essential to incorporate aspects of culture into my lessons. By doing this, I can help my students to not only learn the language but also understand the people and customs of the country they plan to visit.
When it comes to teaching conversational Spanish, I aim to make my lessons engaging and interactive. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by speaking it, so I encourage my students to participate in conversations as much as possible. I create scenarios where they can practice speaking Spanish in real-life situations, such as ordering food at a restaurant or asking for directions on the street.
Furthermore, I have experience working with children who have learning difficulties. I understand that every student is unique and has their own way of learning. Therefore, I tailor my classes to meet the needs and capabilities of each student. For example, if a student has ADHD, I will structure my lessons in a way that keeps them engaged and focused. Alternatively, if a student has Down Syndrome, I will use visual aids and repetition to help them understand the material.
I also offer classes for students who are looking to achieve specific goals, such as passing a GCSE or A-level exam. In these classes, I focus on developing their reading and writing skills, as well as their grammar knowledge.
