I mostly teach in the flipped-classroom model, where I present a lot of activities for students to interact. I use a variety of different interactions, either in a group, pair, or individual. My slides consist of a lot of pictures connected to the teaching subject. I also use creative videos as a part of a session to support or explain more complex topics. I emphasize student collaboration by asking questions and giving students an opportunity to teach each other. My sessions follow FAIR principles with strong pressure on relevance. I think all sessions should be relevant to their future career or studies, so students see the point of learning them. I'm also a fan of giving my students' homework tasks like working on quiz questions, filling in mind maps or creating slides based on learned material. As I only teach online, I learned how to read students in the correct way and how to create a good student-teacher relationship. Of course, interactions between students are also important, so I try to make sure students respect and value their colleagues. Everybody feels comfortable and understood during my sessions. Any negative behavior or attitude will not be tolerated, the groud rules are explained at the beginning of our first session. If a certain student needs an additional session or help, I'm there to share my time and experience with them, so nobody is left alone or behind the rest of the team. We all learn on a different paths and speeds so this needs to be respected.
