Hi everyone! My name is Gabriel, and if you're looking for a fun way to learn Italian or Music (or maybe both) with a competent, curious and insightful teacher, then you're in the right place. As an educator I'm a firm believer in the diversity of every student. No one is exactly the same as anybody else, thus each one of us has a different way of learning and his moved by something different. I always try to create a relationship with my students and understand them as people foremost, and try to listen to them and be close to them and their needs, trying my best not just to teach what I know but to understand what a student is looking for and why he wants to learn. I consequently tailor a lesson suited to a students needs and passion. The heart of my method is conversation: only through an honest interaction that takes notice of the feelings of both student and teacher can anything be learnt or taught. I love to speak with my students about all things music art and culture and try to create a meaningful conversation that can make the both of us feel a little richer and happier when it's through. I have several years of experience both in assisting students of all levels with learning Italian and in teaching guitar and music. For my most ambitious students I even like mixing the two together... The result is very exciting indeed! I am an experienced musician and have a thorough knowledge of Italian culture, and am the ideal teacher for an English speaker trying to learn the language of "Il Bel Paese" because I am British but I have lived in Italy for more than twenty years and I'm basically Bilingual: just as proficient in Italian as I am in English. I have taught for more than five years, first just and children, but with time I have evolved and acquired the means to assist all age groups.
