With over 10 years of experience, I specialise in tutoring secondary school students up to A-levels, as well as university students who struggle with essential Maths skills. As a Maths PhD, I have extensive tutoring experience with a wide range of learners, from university undergraduates and secondary school students who aim to excel, to those who find Maths particularly challenging. I work with everyone at their level of ability, helping them gain confidence, improve their grades, and deepen their understanding of Maths.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, whether it’s mastering Maths for GCSE or A-level, or building foundational skills for university courses. Lessons typically begin with a brief review to reinforce prior learning before progressing to the main topic, using clear explanations and interactive problem-solving techniques. I often include visual aids and practical examples to make complex concepts more approachable and engaging.

My goal is to help students overcome their difficulties with Maths, enabling them to achieve academic success.

All lessons are delivered online, providing the flexibility and personalised attention essential for effective learning. Depending on the student’s needs, I may also set homework exercises to be reviewed and discussed in the following lesson.

Having lived in the UK for the past 10 years and with a daughter in secondary school, I have a solid understanding of the English school system and the Maths requirements at each stage. Lessons are taught in English, but upon request, I can also teach in German, which is my native language.
