My daughter recently turned 15 & dropped out of school due to bullying. She's physically mature for her age & boys & girls at school bullied her for it. It seemed like an inconvenience to the school every time me & my daughter reported the 22 incidents. If the school won't protect my daughter, I will. Gabriel was recommended by another parent who used him last year for their son. I contacted Gabriel & started lessons within 2 weeks (24th March 2025). Gabriel's lessons are more visual with photos & pictures. There is some reading i.e. agree or disagree statements relating to the topic taught. He also asks questions which get's my daughter thinking about issues she's never thought of before. My daughter said studying this subject is more interesting than what she was doing at school. My daughter will have to think about attending college in 2026, but we'll discuss this later in the year. Moral crimes (we covered this on 31st March) involves sensitive topics (abortion, drugs, alcohol).

Gabriel & Find Tutors sorry for the delay in writing this review. My daughter is another casualty of school bullying. She opened up about her se*ual preference to a friend, who then told others at school. This was used as a battering ram to verbally abuse her for 10 months. Boys called her homophobic names in & out of school & occasionally girls would join in when the boys started. Small items would be thrown at her during lessons, along with disgusting hand gestures. She regrets telling her now ex friend. Did the school do anything about this? NO! You'd think in 2025 this wouldn't be an issue. It was my daughter who came across Gabriel's profile online, searching for something different & interesting to study at home to try & forget school. She's never talked about criminology or crime, so this was a bit of a surprise. Long story short – she likes his lessons. The best part is he talks to my daughter & exchange their bullying experiences. Gabriel is open about being bullied at school.

Please accept my apologies for the long delay in responding to Find Tutors email regarding a review for Gabriel. My two teenage children enjoy their online lessons with Gabriel. He also gives them homework which their keen to complete. If only they had the same enthusiasm for school work! Gabriel does warn you beforehand some topics covered maybe of a delicate nature.

Sorry for delay in writing this review. Gabriel is a good teacher. I study with him online every week. I'm Russian and helping improves my English with reading and speaking. I will say I like speaking and the debating more than reading!

The severe bullying at school left my son Matthew with low self esteem issues. Matthew believes he's a failure and believes he's not good looking. It took around 6 weeks to get him into some form of learning, but was refusing to learn English, Math, Geography and Science. Basically anything being taught in school. I was recommended by another parent who's child attended the same school as my son (Sunbury Manor) to look at using Gabriel. We looked at this idea and seemed interested in learning about crime. When Matthew started lessons, he was allowed to keep his camera off due to his confidence issues. By the 4th lesson, he turned his camera on. The interaction between Matthew and Gabriel is great! When he gets positive feedback for his homework, I can see the positive change in him. Matthew's self confidence grew in 2 months. After completing his 8th lesson yesterday (13/3/2025), he received a certificate of achievement showing the topics he covered. He's so proud of this achievement.

I can't write this review in 1000 words. It's not enough. My son has anger issues & swears a lot due to being bullied at school for 3 years. Many meetings with the school, along with many empty promises to protect my son. When my son threatened to commit suicide that was it. No more school. We tried a few online teachers, but they wouldn't continue teaching my son due to his constant outbursts during his lessons about teachers & bullies at school. His lessons wouldn't be a full hour. His outburst could last for around 20 – 30 minutes & teachers wouldn't make allowances for this extra time. Gabriel – found him through Find Tutors. During our online meeting my son had his usual outburst about school. Gabriel encourages my son to talk about his experience without holding him back. Telling him not to use bad language makes it worse (other tutors did this). Lessons with Gabriel last up to 85 minutes which gives my son extra time for his outbursts. Bottom line: my son loves his lessons.

I was recommended by a student Gabriel taught whilst working at the national learning group. My lessons are more imagery and discussion based which I like.

I took my daughter out of school before the end of the summer holidays of 2024 due to the continuous verbal and physical bullying and the school failing to protect her (Sunbury Manor School). Bullies run rife at this school and the education is terrible. She is now being home educated. My daughter who's now 15 has always talked about studying crime. I found Gabriel and we started lessons almost immediately.

I study English with Gabriel. Yes he teaches criminology and crime to teenagers but he also teaches adults. English lessons are topics about crime or problems related to crime. Topics like this make me talk a lot which I need! I don't like the homework!

My daughter started online lessons some months back and enjoys what she's learning. It's all she talks about! We do homework together (don't tell Gabriel) which is interesting because it also educates me about issues I never really think about.

I've recently started online lessons which are going OK. When the lesson is over, Gabriel always asks if he's allowed to go! One day I will say no lol. Be aware lessons & discussions cover controversial topics. For example abortion, biological warfare, honour killings & domestic abuse.

I was browsing the internet for ideas & came across Gabriel's profile via Find Tutors. It's great to see my daughter enjoy her online lessons with Gabriel. We have discussions about what she's learnt after her online lesson!

My son has been studying online with Gabriel for some months now. It's interesting to see my son take a keen interest in this subject, due to him performing poorly at school & taking no interest in other subjects. My son engages well with Gabriel & have never seen him so keen to do homework!
