Merhaba! (Hello!) I am a native Turkish tutor based in London with over 15 years of experience teaching in the Department of Turkish Language and Literature at university, high school, and college. Besides my academic background, I have spent many years helping non-native speakers master the Turkish language.

Who are my lessons for?
• Adults or children who want to learn Turkish from scratch.
• Adults or children looking to advance their Turkish language skills.
• Students preparing for the GCSE and A-Level Turkish exams.

My qualifications:
I hold degrees in Turkish Language and Literature.
Bachelor’s (Bogaziçi University)
Master’s (Istanbul University),
Ph.D. (Yildiz Technical University)

As a native Turkish speaker, I’m fluent in English, Arabic, and Persian.

For the past three years, I’ve been living in London, where I continue researching and teaching Turkish online. I currently teach online and work as an A-level Turkish teacher at a college. Before that, I lived in Istanbul for 20 years and have travelled to other countries for research and study.

About the lessons:

One-on-one lessons tailored to your needs.
Each session is held online via Zoom, and I’ll share lesson slides via email afterward. You can also record the lessons to review later.
One hour per week is typically enough due to the comprehensive nature of the content.
