As a student of Politics and Philosophy, clear communication and translation of more confusing content are skills which I have gained and will employ in my teaching.
If needed I will slowly guide students through content which they may find more confusing, in a manner which may suit them better, and being a student myself I am aware of how to make things more accessible to new learners.
I can advise students on revision skills. A blend of note-taking techniques and practise questions led me to achieve good GCSE’s and A-level results and I can help students learn new revision techniques or how to get the most out of current techniques.
I will ensure that I adapt to each student and their needs and am very flexible on the content/subject which the students may want to focus on, each student’s preferences and experiences differ and my teaching aims to reflect that.
I am a friendly smiling face who wants to make academia a bit less intimidating for students, whether online or in-person, and hope that students will feel comfortable asking me any questions they may be more scared to ask a teacher.
