Fatima is a passionate teacher who is able to identify a student’s strengths and weaknesses rapidly, and can cater for your child’s individual educational needs. She is a qualified medical doctor and has more than 6 years of teaching under her belt.
Dr Ali’s teaching methods are warm and positive. She is aware that teaching does not solely consist of imparting knowledge but builds self-esteem and confidence during her lessons. This is carried out in a subtle manner, and many parents have commented on the change in attitude towards learning of their child. Consequently, your child will love to learn for the duration of their lives.
She has experience teaching a range of levels from KS2 to A level. This is in both a secondary school setting as well as private tuition. She also has a 100% pass rate for the 11 plus examination.
Fatima is familiar with the National Curriculum and has taught Science up to an A level standard for Edexcel, OCR, Salters and AQA. She has also aided students with coursework; which makes up part of their final GCSE/A level Grade.
She has worked with the brightest of students in London, providing references for UCAS as well as aiding students to land their dream careers in the medical/veterinary field by conducting mock interviews; providing guidance with difficult interview questions and confidence techniques. Fatima has worked with students who have progressed onto Oxbridge universities and imparted new skills for their careers.
In addition to this, she has worked with SEN students on a one to one basis, whereby she has tailored her own material to become suitable for the specialist student. Her knowledge in Medicine has given her an upper hand with working with such students as she has more knowledge than the average teacher. Her effective techniques are shown by obtaining impeccable results.
