Hello, my name is Fred. I graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy. During my pre-pharmacy classes at Northern Arizona University, I tutored fellow college students algebra, chemistry, anatomy, and physiology. I was also a lab assistant for their Department of Chemistry helping fellow college students with their laboratory experiments. I always put myself in the student's situation. Panic and frustration are usually involved when students reach out for help. I do the best I can to answer their questions and work with them calmly and without judgement. Comfort between teachers and students is a necessity for learning and growth. Most of my coaching was accomplished on a one-on-one basis. The student and the teacher get more knowledge and depth learning this way.
During the years that I practiced pharmacy, I frequently helped pharmacy technicians prepare for their state licensure examinations, as well as assist them with any questions they had with their lessons. That part of my tutoring career was the most rewarding. Just knowing that my experience will help a future pharmacist does wonders for me.
