Freddie Wheeler

I'm Freddie and I am looking for students who would like to improve their French skills.

My lessons offer a personalised approach depending on your abilities and needs as someone who wants to improve their French. Ever since I started studying the language in Year 7 I have had a desire to become fluent, which led me to study French at the University of Bath. This gave me the opportunity to work in Paris and study in Montréal, which allowed me to further improve my language skills. Now in my 4th year, I feel confident in using my own learning journey to teach others.

As an English student who has learnt the language from scratch, I can offer valuable tips and advice that I have discovered throughout my own learning journey. Depending on your needs, we can focus on speaking, listening, reading, writing or translation or we can take a general approach to become more confident in all areas of the language.

Whilst learning I found total immersion to be the best way to improve my skills and this is one of the approaches that we can try and replicate with our lessons. So whether you want a weekly chat in French to top your speaking skills up; some sessions to improve your writing; or a general mix of everything, I would be keen to help you whatever your goals could be.
