I am a qualified teacher with nine years experience of teaching students with ALN and four years before that teaching MFL. I have taught German to A level, French and Japanese to GCSE and Spanish at KS3, and I am also a qualified Forest School Leader. I have taught students aged 3-19 with complex learning disabilities, focusing on literacy and communication, numeracy, emotional regulation and life skills.

I enjoy teaching creative, interactive lessons using songs, games and physical objects including natural materials and arts and crafts. I adapt my teaching style to my students' interests and needs and I am experienced in supporting students with specific learning difficulties (such as dyslexia), visual and hearing impairments, communication difficulties and other learning needs.
