I really enjoy teaching languages, it's fantastic to see students progress and become confident in communicating in a foreign language.

I try to make my lessons as personalised as possible, we will have an initial chat about abilities, goals and interests. This will then help me plan lessons suited to the needs of a learner, and to make sure that we include elements that they are interested in. We may use games or songs as well as using whiteboards to plot things out.

I offer lessons to all ages and abilities, in 30, 45 and 60 minute slots that fit around your life. I offer more focussed lessons to prepare for the GCSE and A level examinations as well.

I have over 10 years experience teaching Spanish and EFL both online and in a classroom. Until recently I was the head of Spanish for a busy secondary school language department. I have taught GCSE and A-level classes for many years now and enjoy attending training and webinars to furthur my knowledge and gain new ideas to use within my lessons.

I hold a BA in Spanish and TEFL, where I worked abroad in norther Spain teaching English in secondary schools, during my time at university I also completed the CELTA course before moving on to a post graduate MA in ELT. Additiionally I hold a PGCE in secondary MFL with QTS status, I have worked as a mentor for teacher training programmes and currently mark the SCITT assignments for Leicester Univeristy.
