Frank Xiang

Hi, this is Frank, an 18-year old Chinese boy currently studying in the university of Bristol. It's a great surprise to see so many of you have been showing interest in this intricate language with such a long history. I'm sure you'll be able to gain a glimpse of our unique culture and values through a bit further study. As one who was born in China but attend an international school from an early age, I believe I'm not only competent language wise but further more, I'm able to bridge these two cultures by sharing my personal experience and discussing the knowledge together. I'm a firm believer in pragmatism when it comes to learning a language, so my course won't follow a traditional path by teaching you things like grammar and vocabulary. Instead, it's more efficient and beneficial if we can find out a several topics that you are interested in so that I can do some preparation work and then helps you develop your language ability while get your informed about things you really want to know.
Just a quick reminder, I do have a wide scope of interests ranging from geopolitics, international relationships, history to sports(every kind of sports you could ever imagine), culinary, TV series and pop music. So please feel free to discuss anything you want because I always keep an open mind and are willing to hear out people from different perspectives. Looking forward to chat with you soon.
