Hi! I’m Fran, let’s learn English together!

I’m a university graduate specialising in musical theatre and drama, having been teaching in this sector for a number of years. I have as born in England just a hour outside of London and have grown up here my whole life. The English language is something I studied at university through Shakespeare and poetry, making me want to help others learn the language. I am a patient and friendly individual who understands that learning any language for the first time can be an intimidating thing for some people. Additionally, English is one of the hardest languages to learn, so I will support you all the way and try my best to make our lessons super fun!

The lessons I teach focus on speaking and listening at the level you are currently on with English… whether that’s a complete beginner or an experienced speaker. I’m very relaxed and casual in the lessons, there is no time limit or pressure, we will go at your own pace. It will also include some engaging activities such as completing sentences, games, spelling and phonics, reading activities, worksheets and much more! However the best way to learn a language, in my opinion, is to be exposed to the language as much as possible… so speaking and listening will be our main priority in these lessons.

The first session will always be a basic introductory lesson. This is so I can understand your knowledge of the language and what I can do to prepare for the next lesson. I hope you choose me as your tutor and I can’t wait to start!
