Hiya, my name is Frankie and I will be delivering private tuition in GCSE Chemistry and Biology! I aim to help students develop academically whilst also ensuring my sessions are creative, engaging and individually tailored. I attained a 9 in both GCSE Chemistry and GCSE Biology as well as an A* in A-level Chemistry and Alevel Biology. Therefore I will not only will be helping students understand content, but also give tips and tricks on how to revise effectively.

I like to use a range of teaching styles including mind maps, posters, lists, videos and exam style questions- however I will always focus on which style suits the student best.

It is important for me to get to know people as I believe this makes learning more effective, and also helps communication. If individuals want to me to pick the content each lesson that works, however I will always encourage for you to give me an indication of areas of weakness so I can plan a lesson for the next session which will be engaging and memorable.

Overall, through my periods of study I realised that it isn’t always about the quantity of revision, it is all down to the quality and sometimes less is more. Study should be divided and include periods of rest/restoration in order to allow information to be stored in the long term memory.

I hope to hear from you soon - Please don’t hesitate to ask me any questions, I’m always here to help!

Many thanks
Frankie
