I hold Master’s degrees in European Law and Philosophy of Law, studied in tandem, completed with an 80% GPA from Leiden University, Netherlands, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Keele University and a GDL from City University of London, both awarded with a 2:1 status. I have 6 years of industry experience and 3 years teaching university level students at both Masters and Bachelors level in law, business, and digital marketing.
I pride myself in making my material as accessible as possible for all learners and engaging students in tutorials by making the Law entertaining as well as informative. More specifically, I incorporate games and fun activities that helps to bolster students learning through entertaining methods, blending this with traditional learning and mentoring.
My lessons are online over Zoom or Skype, and I am available via WhatsApp for any questions outside of our teaching time so that you feel supported at all times.
I like to take a collaborative approach with students, making teaching more of a two-way street rather than a lecture. I do give short assignments to bolster your learning outside of our teaching time which will be discussed and assessed during our sessions.
I regularly incorporate problem questions into the session, but like to focus on why cases are relevant so that you don't just remember the legal principles, you understand the context of the law and why it precedents stand or are turned over. I find gives students a greater chance to achieve higher grades.
