I like focusing on the results I want to get from
my lessons. I also like focusing on improving my students’ knowledge of the subject by allowing my students to interact in conversations and answer open questions which might arise. I also like teaching in a creative way, through word games and reading articles of newspapers written in the language they are studying. If they cannot read them, we find the keywords on which they should focus and which they should learn to understand the contents of the articles. I also encourage my students to talk about their own experience using the language they are learning do that they can build up
a vocabulary and learn new words. I normally my lessons by letting them talk about what happened to them the day before the lesson and proceed by working on books and materials we have available. I believe that media such as videos, articles on internet or ebooks are very helpful and very important when learning a different language. I also allow students to watch videos at home and come up with points or questions that we can discuss during our class. I like teaching alive and online, one to one of in a class. Before starting teaching I like introducing myself to the students and I allow them to introduce themselves to me and to the other students in the class. I believe in teamwork so I encourage them to come up with ideas for posters and presentations.
