Hi :)
My name is Francesca, I’m 29 years old, I’m from Rome, in Italy, and I moved to Leeds in 2019.

Conversation is as important as grammar.

I think it’s important to start learning the words and sentences that we will actually end up using in conversations with other people first rather than starting with memorising so many grammatical facts that can be learned once the student feels more confident with the language.

I also find learning from music, movies, stories and fun facts of a culture the most effective way to absorb the language, the story, the sounds, the society and the mentality of the country! It’s a fundamental step!!!

I personally experienced the process of learning a new language so I know what it feels like, how intimidating it can look and how frustrating sometimes it can be.. But I’m here to help whoever wants to learn italian and I’m happy to do it!!! :)

I’m available for in person meetings in Leeds city Center and around but also for online classes! For those who’s class will require me to take a longer transport than usual then I’d be including the price of the ticket in the class charge :)
