Hi there!

Francesca here :) I am an Italian teacher born in Rome, the Eternal City!

I graduated in Interpreting and Translation and have been teaching for years now after completing my master's level certification (DITALS level 2).

I am extremely passionate about languages in general and I deeply enjoy teaching my favourite one, my mother tongue.

I like art in each form, taking long walks throughout the city or in some park and I love photography. Do we have anything in common? :)

Now the relevant information:

The learning approach I based my method on is communicative. It means that my classes follow a specific pattern made to provide students with the best way to assimilate the language: from motivation to analysis and reuse.

Every lesson has a topic adapted to study every linguistic aspect: grammar, vocabulary, sentence structures etc.

Grammar is fundamental, we all know that - but learning it in context is the key to use it to speak instead of learning it by heart and try to take it out from our brains whenever we need to talk.

The goal is to improve in each of the four abilities of a language speaker: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

It goes without saying that learning a language through individual classes is a collaborative job between teacher and student - communication is key.
