I recently completed a master's in music education at the Royal College of Music. As part of the studies for this course, I
attended an Alexander Technique module, which I found to be greatly beneficial in guiding piano students to connect their
minds and body. I also obtained the piano Diploma at the “Conservatorio di Musica S. Pietro a Majella” in Naples, considered
comparable to the British Bachelor (Honours) Degree standard.
As an experienced and enthusiastic piano teacher, I establish a serious and professional manner to maintain professionalism
in my appearance.
Last year, I joined the teachers’ panel for the Royal College of Music. I deliver weekly one-to-one instrumental lessons from beginner through to diploma level. I prepare my students for school concerts and music exams by explaining the music theory applied to piano pieces, I include
sight-reading and aural exercises.
I understand the importance of ensuring that students develop confidence and learning skills as well as their musical talent,
which aligns with my priority as a piano teacher. I can guide beginner students to achieve high-level piano skills and a great
understanding of music theory, improvisation, piano in classical, jazz, and pop styles, and aural skills.
I find diverse ways to guide my students to reach their targets. My approach is that a student cannot do wrong within the
context of studying piano and I view a lesson as a series of chances to succeed. The "can-do" atmosphere heads inevitably
toward success.
Ten years of teaching experience allowed me to gain an extensive knowledge of piano repertoire and the ability to guide piano
students in joining chamber music groups teaching piano parts.
