Conversational, Exam Preparation English (IELTS), General English, Business, Travel, and English for Kids.
My passion for teaching English stems from my belief in the transformative power of language. I firmly believe in adapting teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and support.
In my lessons. I usually ask students about their Personal Experiences based on the lessons tackled. Students need to share anecdotes or experiences related to the challenges faced and lessons learned and provide insights into the relevance of these concepts in various fields and industries.
They should also relate answers and apply them to real-world scenarios. (eg. to solve a practical problem).
Apart from that, I also do Interactive Learning where students are engaged actively in utilizing exercises and examples. If there are other students in the classroom, I encourage students to do collaborative problem-solving through pairs or groups.
And lastly, doing a feedback loop wherein students are encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback on the learning process. By this, as a teacher, it could be easier for me to work on the part where there is a need for practice. With proper guidance, regular assessment, and adaptability in teaching methods based on student engagement and comprehension, I am confident that students can enhance their learning experience, as it is essential to tailor the approach based on the student's prior knowledge and the specific learning environment.
