Role-Playing: I create real-life scenarios where students practice conversations such as ordering at a restaurant, attending a job interview, or asking for directions. This boosts fluency and helps students feel comfortable in practical situations.

Task-Based Learning: Lessons often involve completing real-world tasks, such as writing an email, creating a shopping list, preparing a short presentation or writing a story. These activities develop vocabulary, grammar, and communication skills in a meaningful context.

Audio-Visual Aids: Videos, recordings, and images are used to enhance understanding and engage visual and auditory learners.

Having successfully helped my 10-year-old daughter pass her 11+ grammar school entrance exam, I understand how to teach effectively. I always begin by assessing the student’s current level to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this, I design a personalised lesson plan that builds their skills step by step, ensuring progress and confidence in using English in everyday life.
