Floriane Tarrou

Qualified teacher with 8 years of experience. I have a masters in Applied Linguistics (2015), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (2017) and my Qualified Teacher Status (2012). I have been working in different schools as a French Teacher and even Head of the French department and I have taught from early years to adults with a speciality for the French GCSE.
I have always wanted to have a positive impact on society: to be able to teach with care and empathy to help children and teenagers to learn and find their path. I have always been aware of the uniqueness of each student in front of me. I am convinced that their evolution towards balanced and independent adults depends on an education that fits their needs and their stage of evolution, both in school and at home.
When I became a mother myself in 2021, I have done my best to apply those ideas at home. I have also started to train in Educational Psychology (sleep disorders in children and gentle parenting). Today, my aim is to keep training (Montessori and Positive Psychopedagogy) to be able to help and coach families and children to the best of my abilities.
