I like to start my lessons discussing previous lessons and exercises, making sure that you have understood it clearly before moving on. I believe it is important for students to feel confident in what they have already been taught so as to not get overwhelmed when moving on to other topics. I enjoy discussing the subjects with my students and having them explain different processes and theorems to me. If they cannot explain them clearly, then we need to go over it again, as this is usually when we notice holes in their understanding. And finally, practice is the best way to help strengthen your understanding! I have plenty of past papers and exercises which will help you build your confidence in maths.
