I have taught students with additional needs such as dyslexia and ADHD, and am always happy to tailor my teaching style and lesson structure to suit the needs of the student. For example, some students may need a more visual style of learning, with diagrams and pictures, while others may prefer written or verbal information.
I want my students to feel comfortable asking me any questions at any time, no matter how big or how small, so it's very important to me to foster a friendly, supportive learning environment. Additionally, the content that we cover is entirely up to the student - I prefer to find out what they need help with during each session, rather than setting a strict lesson plan beforehand. I'm always happy to expand beyond curriculum content if a student is especially interested in something!
