I prioritise helping you gain confidence in your chosen subject, my lessons are a space for trying, making mistakes, and asking questions, all of this helps you to better understand and develop your skills for the subject.

In the first session I'll start with a small task to help identify your strengths and areas for improvement, as well as just asking you what your aims are from the tutoring sessions! Your specific goals are what I will tailor my lessons towards, if you want help analysing unfamiliar texts, we'll go through strategies to develop those skills, if you are looking for ways to develop your sentence structure when analysing texts we can practice sentence structures and continue to develop those skills until you have seen a noticeable improvement which you are satisfied with.

I prioritise giving my students autonomy over what we cover and how we cover it, these lessons are for you and if there is an approach I use that you don't enjoy or you find doesn't work well for you, I am more than happy to change it and try other routes to help you get the most out of our time together.
